FROSTBREAKER IS HERE AGAIN!
Hello Fellow athletes and revellers,
Frostbreaker will be March 4th and 5th at the usual stomping grounds of Citizen's Field in North East Gainesville. In addition to field snacks, water, brilliant trophies and great company there will of course be a party. Frostbreaker is again CO-ed in a 4-3 format; three women on the field at all times.
I am currently working on the applications for UPA sanctioning. This means the UPA will take care of our insurance. Therefore all players must be current UPA members or else players may opt to pay a $10 event fee instead of registering as a UPA member. In addition, each team must fill out a roster of all of the participating players and have signed waivers from all of the players.
The cost is $200 per team with $100 due by February 14th.
The cost is subject to drop depending on whether we are accepted for UPA sanctioning.
Deposits can be mailed to 614 NE 6th Ave Gainesville Florida 32601
Questions can be addressed to Clea Lauriault at cleais@hotmail.com
I can also be reached at 352 256 7161

What teams are going to be there?
2 things:
Any idea on participating teams yet?
Also, though I am not one, keep in mind that there are some under-21 participants in this tournament, so a bar probably isn't the best place for the party to happen again (like 2005). I know a lot of people who were bummed about not being able to party as hardy with everyone. We've been to a few tournaments elsewhere in Florida recently where local participants volunteer to throw a house party, etc. Just an idea....
Lookin' forward to a great rainy, muddy tourney again!!!
